Enable Check for Update in X-Charge from version 7.x

Follow the steps below:

1. Open the X-Charge client and click "File" then "X-Charge Server".
   
   
2. Click on Setup then on the "Security" tab at the top. Select the User you are logging in as (in this example, the User is System). Then click "Modify...".

   

3. Under the "X-Charge Client Options" section, click on the "Check For Updates" checkbox to select it. Then click "OK".

   

4. Click the "Save" button in the top left hand corner. You will see the following prompt:

   

5. Close out of all X-Charge windows.
   
   
6. Now open the X-Charge client and the "Check for update..." option in the Help menu will be available.
